Looks like it. The chase car is a Ford Falcon. Good MINI movie.

The Falcon looks like a 4 door Ford Thunderbird. It is a good flick.

I just watched it... yes it is an Aussie video definately... This is all filmed at the Melbourne Showgrounds from what I can see.

I was very patient and I actually caught the number plate on the mini. Judging by the rubber pedals, the car is an early model (02-03)

On the front, the plates were blacked out, on the back, they read XXX (nice plate - I wish I could get that) But I caught a shot towards the end it reada (Vic) RLO 320...

Anyone know who's car copped a hiding that day??

That plate seems familiar. I used to have a heap of pictures of EB/W cars collected from peoples galleries while I was enduring the wait for mine to arrive. If I am recollecting properly, the shots involving a car with that plate were all hi quality advertising type stills.

So my guess it that it was some class of press car owned by BMW.

well I've got BMW press pictures of RLO 318 (EB/W MCS) and RLO 321 (DS/W MCS), both of which were BMW press cars, so I think it's a safe bet that 320 was asl well

yeah I know RLO316 was a BMW Aus car too

I noticed it this morning, but didn't say anything - was worried people thought I might have been a bit weird for remembering stuff like that hahaha

You guys are all totally weird

I also noticed that when she goes for "reverse" she goes down and to the right... now that is a MCS, not a cooper... so she pulls it into 6th... that'd make for an interesting getaway
