Offline | Yeah, Tit treated us to a couple of these pics a few weeks ago but it's well worth a second look You know, strangely enough, it's really quite difficult to look at these pictures and eat your lunch at the same time (where's that barfing emoticon when you need it )PMSL ![]() Jan 06 MCS Checkmate |

Offline | I went out to my parents place on the weekend and thought I'd try to get some pictures of a bluetongue so I could revive this thread. After walking aimlessly through the paddocks and not finding anything I came across an old shed that had some corrugated iron on the ground just beside it. My sisters Lab was with me and he was sniffing around going nuts and I could hear something moving around underneath it. Unfortunately I chickened out lifting it up to have a look No one else was home and I didn't feel like a trip to the hospital. I mean, I didn't want the dog to get bitten ![]() Jan 06 MCS Checkmate |

Offline | I'm pretty sure it was a nest of bluies cause I've seen them near there before (the baby ones are really cool) but the pile of corrugated iron was stacked awkwardly so I couldn't just stand back and flick the sheet off I would have had to get down and dirty and go sorting through the pile. I also thought the first thing the dog would do if he saw baby ones would be to try to eat them I've been keeping my eyes peeled on the sides of the roads for them and echidnas and tortoises which you sometimes see too.
