Hello all - long time lurker, first time poster.

Hi everyone

Just wanted to finally introduce myself after reading this forum for the last month or so. I have a MCS on order which is arriving May/June and this site has been fantastic keeping me sane during the wait.

This will be my second car purchase and my first brand spanking new car after finally selling my first car last week. At least the wait allows me to save up for the rest of the Cooper's balance while I re-live my days as a poor uni student.

Anyhoo, hope to see you guys on a run someday, otherwise see you on the boards!

Low on budget so very little extras -

Black / Black
6 speed manual
17" bullets

Will try to keep it stock until warranty runs out plus I save up some $. Only other thing I would like is the aero grills on the font, hopefully a cheap pair will pop up somewhere.

Will definately keep that offer in mind. Otherwise I can drag my gf along with her 206cc (we can paint some imposter bonnet stripes! heh heh)

The 3.0 was a dream car but a MASSIVE money pit. Looks clean on the outside but slowly rusting away from the inside out. Hopefully the next owner will have the moolah and time to do a proper restore.

I know your story Dan... the 2002 is so much fun, but it is a money pit.

I have put in storage for a few months until I can afford to get the body done...

I would have loved the BMW you saw yesterday too Micky The 3.0CSL is one of my dream cars.

What a beautiful looking car that BMW 3.0 is (though I can fully understand the reasons for it having to go!)

Why, oh why, can't the current design team at BMW take a long hard look at what's gone before and realise that BMW's don't have to be ugly (and include massive blind spots) to be recognisable as BMW's!

Enjoy the MINI !

Tigger.
