From humble wishing at the Sydney motorshow in '02. Finally realised after order (February 13th,2004) and picked up on June 6th, 2004. An endless source of enjoyment, pride and learning. Favourite drives: The Eden weekend. Eden to Bombala with Karen radioing ahead ![]() Bumble Hill with the 'morning crew' Yarramalong/Bumble cruises/photoshoots - in particular foggy mornings at 0 degrees C The Old Pacific Highway The road up to Gloucester and trips across the weir Thankyous: Firsty, the Smurf for basically getting me started in the whole MINI thing. I had no idea what I was getting myself into that day I accepted the offer to co-pilot on the Worthos run (09-04-04). A whole new lifestyle. The 'morning crew' - Kerrie (& Brad), Karen (&Stu). The only ones crazy enough to be up at the crack of dawn (and earlier) to do Bumble Hill and Yarramalong with photos on the way, before a Pirates meeting at Pie in the middle of Winter. The OT & B crew - waaaay too many to mention. Quick rattle off tho, Villa, Phanny, MM, Cold Side (awol), Lavs, Meg, Stef, Nikola, ruthie, and everyone else Ive forgotten (you all know who you are ) Luvz ya all.![]() Basically every NSW owner who has attended a drive day of late, and in turn, accepted the Pirates into their lifestyles Much appreciated. Theres nothing better than our weekend drives ![]() Special thanks to Al (GOGADGET) for the constant support and planning. My Australian MINI owner friends. Those interstaters Ive met, and those I havent alike, many thanks for the banter, laughs and drives. | Whatev. | Nice post Scotty. Thanks for the thanks (?) and all of the awesome photos of my car over the past year and for being fantastic company ![]() Will never forget that very first drive we went on together when you first got your car and I took you home via Bumble Hill. The expression on your face afterwards was *priceless*. Anyone who has that expression on their face after driving my favourite road has to be an awesome person. Here's to the next year and the next 40000 thousand posts and finding your girl next door soon. ![]() Another statistic for you - this weekend is the first run to PITS that Scotty has ditched us and done something else (some silly race is on apparently). ![]() |

Offline | PMSL Good on you, Scotty. I've really enjoyed watching you develop the photography thing and how much you seem to get out of it. You've posted some good shots, a fair few of which I've pinched (hope you don't mind) ![]() ![]() |
