Adelaide: Mini Meet Convoy Run

Cost: Free for any member of a CAMS affiliated car club
$5 if you are not a member of a CAMS affiliated club

Sorry for the late notice. We're going to tour Nth Adelaide, then a Rundle St cruise, then a Hindley St cruise, then a Jetty Rd cruise, then 2 stages of the Classic Adelaide rally before ending up at Windy Pt.

All Minis new & old are welcome.

Then on Sun is the annual Mini Meet at Glenelg (Wigley Reserve) from 10am.

How strong is the new mini contingent in Adelaide? They are noticably absent.....(or is it just me...)....

Yeah, they can be a little light on the ground but they are still out there. Usually in the trendy areas on the northern and eastern fringes of the city.

But don't let that stop you from moving here. The feral Commodore and Falcon lovers might stop you but not the lack of Minis! (just joking by the way - don't want to start an Aussie vs British manufacturer war here!)

All I'd be worried about is falling into the trenches that are the pot holes in your city.....

Hey....I did an AWESOME Drive between Tea Tree and Hahndorf just before new years in a hired MCS...lots of hairpins, single lane squiggly turns.....I'll go find it on the map and send you the details.....if I do drive down there, I'll definitely take my beast down that track again...!!

this is driving me crazy...!! I can't find my Adelaide street directory...

Anyway...one of the roads we went on was Lobethal road near Basket....very cool!!
