Yep finally picked up my car today after what seems to have been an eternity.

Actually I worked it out, last drove the car on 22nd November when I took it to the smash repairers..............after a few side trips by others its finally home.

All seems to drive similar and engine feels alright, just need to give it a good hitout before all is signed off.

Lots of little things to put back and fiddle with and just started to panic!!! 5 weeks till on the boat to Tassie for Targa.

Will leave the picks to Scotty on the weekend, down to the garage to fiddle (with the car

Will give you a call in the morning. Going for a long drive tomorrow to test out. Wouldnt mind doing a one day run on the easter weekend somewhere

Yes...your car would make a good advertising exmple....perhaps you could convince BMW to sponsor your car as a marketing tool....

Well it seems all a bit premature. Didnt even last 24 hours.

Went out for a drive this morning, thought might shake off a few cobwebs.

Hit the M2 Motorway all feeling good, work up through the gears.. 2, ....3, .....4....... there is no fifth, cant select, just get stops at the gate

, sixth works fine. Ok so Im going mad, slow down try again at low revs.... nothing. So decide to pull over and have a look. Take the Pennant Hills road exit... NO BRAKES. WTF is going on (or more animated if your in the car with me at the time!!!).

So pull over to the side road and there is a big pool of brake fluid under front near side wheel.

So its call the tow truck and take it back to the workshop. This time I have finally cracked and someone is going to get hurt
