Good work Tom. Well I've won the bid at $91, so with the $12 postage, all up it'll cost $103, or $51.50 split between myself and Tiaan if he's still happy to split the bill.

Ive had this uniden UHF radio for awhile now, havnt used it in ages, i just put new batteries in & all i hear on channel 40 is beeps & buzzes.......no truckies talking trash.

Im guessing this station is busy most of the time, but as today is a public holiday all the truckies are all asleep.

I'll have to wait until tuesday to see if this thing works before going out & buying a new one.

Yeah, I also have one like that Daniel, but I think being only 0.5W it's range is not all that great. Hopefully these new ones at 1.5W will be a bit better. Like you I don't use them all that much, which is one reason why I didn't want to spend too much.

Tiaan, we've got mail. Package arrived safely today, all looks good, although I may have accidentally ordered the incorrect headset for you!
