The car was in very very good nick and was well maintained. They like to be driven daily,
and she went where I went. (no dirt rds though..) As I live and work in the same suburb,
and am a reasonably friendly bugger, the old girl was well known and well 'watched' by
the locals whenever parked anywhere, I always felt secure that way...she was a part of the community like an old draught horse (maybe a bad comparison..?).

By the way a much nicer car to drive with the hardtop on than as a convertible, although still nice as a convertible...Benz engineering back then was amazing, felt like a 10 year old car not a 30 yr old..

enough emotional rambling from me...

Owww, what happened to her?

SOLD !
6 years of ownership was enough to satisfy my desire for a classic convertible.
Sold her to a mad bustard who had sold his biz for a motza and wanted to play with big toys. She's occasionaly spotted around Brighton.

Not bad for a trucker.

Doesnt shock me...

I saw his auction on the news - there was some truly magnificent cars there!!

I think you would find someone like the drummer from Pink Floyd would be there too...

I alos love the car collection of Jamiroquai... he is a '02 nut... still has his original 1602 BMW that he got as his first car! Plus a 2002 Turbo... and a collection of Ferrari's and Lambo's including a Ferrrari Enzo in black plus a Miura SV... and a collection of rare Italian motorbikes...

Apparantly when he broke up with his former girlfriend he drove a $100,000 mercedes G wagon into a dam on his property out of anger.

Rockstars!

Took him all day to think of that Yes my avatar is me too...

The hair freakishly changed color as I got older... must have been the beach baby life I once lived.

How old were you Ross? Was this a school photo? Very cute

I dont think mine was up to the standard of the white one. If the white one is 9.5pts maybe mine was 7.5-8.0pts. It would be a crime to drive the white one daily, only special events sunny days etc....mine was a very good everyday car.

You can over restore a car to the point it is useless.

Bentley... hassifffff!

That looks just like they were back in the 60's... get with the times.

The Roller 5H17's on the Bentley - give me a polished bonnet and suicide doors any day
Interesting fact. Bentley and Rolls Royce attribute over 50% of annual sales to African-American males...

Pro Basketballers, rappers, pimps... they know where its at
