Yeah - my Lotus Elite. It still needs interior work though before I can take it out and show it off. However I was told by my mechanic not to learn on this car. A bit too powerful - has a climax engine in it.
What else do you know we have?!

Nick posted a shot being a smarty pants one day and a car in the BG caught my eye... I asked my dad if he knew anything about it and he filled me in, I then sent Nick a message and he sent me a few pics... google was my friend too.

I saw the 79 at the Geelong (<--- my home town) Speed Trials about 6 years ago - you may have been there?

I do remember - it was Johnny Herbert - would have been early 90's then - I'm very keen on a trip to Sydney, so I will try to get there for the HSRCA day

Hey heard about the proposed road changes happening around you? they are gonna add like 14 pedestrian crossings, to slow down the extra traffic that will spill over from the cross city tunnel. No more fanging past your place

Traffic in Sydney's east will come to a standstill and road-rage incidents will increase after a traffic calming plan is introduced, a national motoring group has warned.

Woollahra Council has released details of a plan to slow vehicles in Paddington and make the suburb more pedestrian friendly.

The move will see 15 new pedestrian crossings installed across the suburb, taking the total from four to 19.

Traffic-calming devices that narrow the road will also be installed and a 40kmh speed limit imposed across the entire suburb.

Residents hope the initiatives will deter motorists expected to spill out of the $680 million Cross City Tunnel, scheduled to open next Sunday, from making "rat runs" through their narrow streets.

But the National Motorists Association of Australia has warned that the plan will increase congestion in the already crowded suburb and inspire road-rage incidents.

Ive seen a map of the plan, and many of the crossings are going to be installed along Hargrave to Gurner and pass Five Ways.

What farkin geniuses. The problem around Paddo in peak times is that the buses block the roads until their finished. Theirs no run-offs and trying to get past one is impossible. Mind you, I really dont mind as it slows down the idiots going past my house. I dont need to join the race in the morning so could'nt give a rats ****.
40km/h...
I do triple that after the Hargrave turn in from Gurner and up to the 1st roundabout.

Add to the fact that idiots dont stop for pedestrians is going to make things worse. I myslef and my dogs have been nearly run-over several times after idiots coming home/ leaving fo work. Mobile in one hand brain in the clouds.....screech......me yelling at them.....kicking their lights in.
