Thank you Paul for reinstating the Aussie Board. I think it got lost in the heat of Battle what a sterling job you do.
I know I for one would lose 70% of my MINIs enjoyment without this Forum. I have met some great people hear who I know will go on to be lifelong friends. I receive so much support and advice on these boards I've gone from a complete n00b to entering my first Tarmac Rally. ALL due to the guys I have met on MINI2. I am able to turn up anywhere in Australia and be guaranteed a drive in a MINI all because of MINI2.
So thank you once again Paul for reinstating the continuing enjoyment of my MINI

Just in Rakey's defense I jumped to the same conclusion. Smilies are there to help interpretation right?

Now you guys know Brett and have maybe met him personally, but we haven't. All we see is a post with loadas of

smilies, what is a person supposed to think?

I think it's wrong to flame Rakey for misinterpreting it, be it a joke or not.

Granted, but you have to also be aware that if you read posts in a foreign (Oz) countries forum (which includes its own sense of humour and characteristics), you have to be abit forgiving to the locals and their sense of humor.
I can understand why you dont understand some of our humor, but then I guess you could say the same about Oz members not understanding UK humor 100%.
