Offline | Thank you Paul for reinstating the Aussie Board. I think it got lost in the heat of Battle what a sterling job you do. I know I for one would lose 70% of my MINIs enjoyment without this Forum. I have met some great people hear who I know will go on to be lifelong friends. I receive so much support and advice on these boards I've gone from a complete n00b to entering my first Tarmac Rally. ALL due to the guys I have met on MINI2. I am able to turn up anywhere in Australia and be guaranteed a drive in a MINI all because of MINI2. So thank you once again Paul for reinstating the continuing enjoyment of my MINI ![]() ![]() GETTING ALL RALLYED UP and a little bit sideways |

Offline | Just in Rakey's defense I jumped to the same conclusion. Smilies are there to help interpretation right? Now you guys know Brett and have maybe met him personally, but we haven't. All we see is a post with loadas of ![]() ![]() smilies, what is a person supposed to think?I think it's wrong to flame Rakey for misinterpreting it, be it a joke or not. Anyway, welcome back Aussies And hopefully see you in a few weeks Brett #Let's party!! ![]() |

| Remember | <----still can't see the funny side of a post that had no fun smilies only ones![]() I suppose when there have been attempts at threatening moderators and hacking accounts you loose a bit of your sense of humour around the place ![]() Anyway, I guess it goes to show you can't post something without people jumping to conclusions, or then half a dozen getting the flame throwers out So please just think before you post, of how everyone will react to it, not just your group of close friends![]() The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |

| Trained Monkey | Well, maybe Brett will buy you and Buttons a beer too. Could be an expensive trip to the UK at this rate. ![]() Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |

Offline | Granted, but you have to also be aware that if you read posts in a foreign (Oz) countries forum (which includes its own sense of humour and characteristics), you have to be abit forgiving to the locals and their sense of humor. I can understand why you dont understand some of our humor, but then I guess you could say the same about Oz members not understanding UK humor 100%. ![]() |
