I don't think that's the aero kit spoiler - more likely you're talking about the MCS rear spoiler?

Yep, the MCS spoiler has the gap above the high mount stop light and the aero one does not.

I bought my MCS spoiler second hand from a fellow MINI2er (thanks Nick).

The installation is fairly easy - drill two holes and tighten nuts.

Cheers
Chris

kinda like that pick-up line:

"you must have spanners for eyes, 'cause everytime I look into them my nuts tighten"

must say I think the standard MCS spoiler looks better than the aero kit one, the aero kit one looks a bit too much like an ironing board for my liking.

I'd think the Hamann spoiler is even worse, kinda like a Porka GT3 spoiler ended up on a MINI's roof

You could always attach an ironing board to the rear like I did.....

I think the MCS wing look very good ( ..chris) on a MC as it gives a nice curve. Theres always the new JCW wing

Here is a picture of my own Cooper complete with "ironing board" spoiler.

I like it.

I wasn't expecting it (and I certainly haven't been driving any differently), but I've found that my average fuel consumption has actually improved by 3mpg (from between 35 & 36mpg up to 39mpg) since I fitted it!

That means, at today's prices (£3.81 per gallon), it will have paid for itself in 15,576 miles (about 14 months). Result

Tigger.

hmmm...so that'd be around $2.05 per litre!!!!

Aussies are in an uproar because inner-city prices are around $1.10 / litre...
