Hi Guys,

I am the owner of the Waxit website.

Liam was asked and gave his permission for me to use that image......I know him from the VW Vortex forums amongst others.

The colour of the car and the background suit the colours of the site and since Liam's car is a favourite of my son, I asked him if I could use that image.

I am definately not Texan.........where did that come from ? For what its worth I am a Victorian living in Brisbane.

I hope this post clears up this issue.

Yeah, I noticed that too Todd, my original pic was fine, but something seems to have gone a bit pear shaped when Dave's web guy resized the pic. I was happy to oblige for Dave after he and his son were in Canberra for the German Autofest last year, the highlight of Dave's son's weekend was a ride in Little Blue! Plus, Dave's a good bloke, so always happy to help out good people.

on the topic of waxes, I mentioned it in the banter thread, but I tried some Bowdens Own yesterday. Really nice stuff, it's a carnauba blend, rather than a synthetic, so it's quite a different look to synthetic, but I prefer the carnauba look, it looks 'wetter', and really works well with the BRG.

You werent the first to have an .:R... there was *ahem*Trelo*ahem* then there is also Mark (plastic from VWVortex) on here as R32 Plastic... but he hasn't been here for a while, I'd say he is too busy chopping people up.

Born in Box Hill, grew up nearby in Forest Hill, lived in Wantirna South for a while too. I moved to Brisbane 5 years ago.
