I'm from Albion Park in the Illawarra/Wollongong area and often see the odd Mini getting around here. Back in 2002, when I was anxiously waiting for the arrival of my MCS, I would be teased nearly every day by a LY/B MCS that I often drove past. I've also seen a couple of CR MCSs going through Albion Park itself. So I was wondering if there might be any other Mini owners from Wollongong here on the forums? Come on ... fess up!

Hey Guran, I'm a currently living down the coast at Batemans Bay but I am Gong through & through and still spend a lot of time up there, I seen a really nice chilli red S with colour coded wheel arches and stuff a few weeks back an Minnamurra and there are quiet a few dark silver ones around the city.

Thanks for the reply XTREEM. I too have seen quite a few MINIs getting around locally. There's even a driving instructor at Oak Flats with a EB/Y MCS that he let's his L-platers get around in!

Yeah someone told me they seen the driving instructor car at warrawong, they thought it was only a cooper though!! Is it a S??

The one I've seen is definitely an S ... it was around before Electric Blue was available on the Cooper, and there's even a photo of it in the Yellow Pages (Ezy-Azz Learn 2 Drive). There might now be other MINIs used for driving schools in the area.
