Geez Giles - sad to see you leaving too! Whatever you're getting - I hope it is faster than the MINI around Wakefield

Why are you getting rid of the MINI??

Would I be wrong in assuming you are getting a Z car?

Good to see you around again Giles, does this mean you're staying in Australia?

And remember I get first dibs on any bits you take off your MINI.

Cheers Liam

Correct... I need a new lease... the new Mini doesnt impress me so i looked for something that i wont need to modify that will go well and have enough room for my Racing bike in the back. So the 130i is the one that fits the bill.. LOTS OF GO!!! Enough room for the Bike inside it. And a well built car.
Colour is unknown yet as they will not start building them till Sept and the first one arrives in AU in Late December.
Ive paid a pre-deposit.

I still have no idea what the go will be I might test the waters and see if anyone wants to buy it from me. I got the destinct feeling from the dealer this afternoon that they really werent going to give me much on a trade as the cars hardly standard... even though i told them i could have it back to standard in a week.. apart from the wheels.

I have plenty of time to sort it all out anyway. If i sell it early i still have my 325i so ill just pott around in that.

nice one... I'd go for a 130i as well, but I don't like the look of them. And it's not forced induction, so I can't make it go lots faster for little $$, but then again at 190kW and 1200kg, I'm sure you won't be complaining.

and supposivly ( from internet rumors) its de-tuned for the 130i. It was a hard call to go for this car.. i was eyeing off a 1999 Schwartz Black M5 and a Lapis blue 2003 4.6 X5. But funnily enough the 1 series has more room in it for my bike.

130i. Good choice I've got a 120i as a loaner right now and boy oh boy, even the 4 pot's engine noise sounds more sexy than the MCS..can't imagine what it would be like with a 6 pot.

Have you noticed the rear seat is a bit tight?

that's certainly one tough call to make

and the X5 you could have had it's a 4.6!!!!! (not the 'lowly' 4.4 haha)

I hope you at least took the M5 and X5 for a good steer before deciding

Hey mate,
good to see you back, sad to see the little one going.

You should pop up to PITS one Sunday before it goes.

Do a post if you want to get rid of some of your mods. Give you a bit of change
