I was all set to post a story before about a method for parting a rabbit from its skin that my brother and I came up with when we were kids but thought better of it as it was really not PC. I can say though that it didn’t involve explosives and the rabbits were involuntarily euthanized humanely before they were skinned.

Do share, rabbits=tasty&practical, a hearty winter stew and a new hat, they are almost like the Kinder surprise of furry creatures.

Ok, just for you. (and for your eyes only )

When I was a kid, my older brother was big into rabbit hunting. He wasn't all that good at skinning them (picture blood and guts everywhere and a pelt that looked more like an old pare of Michael Jackson’s undies ) so I came up with the idea of pushing an air compressor nozzle through the bullet hole between the skin and the muscle and pumping it up to separate the skin from the rest of said bunny (kind of like liposuction in reverse I suppose). So we gave it a go and what would you know, it worked! (one bloated bunny balloon - kind of like when Shrek blows up the snake and the frog in the movie). The only thing was that you had to be careful not to let air get through the bullet hole into the body cavity as it tended to get messy if you did

Like I said, the rabbits were all killed humanly and were definitely dead before we did that to them

Oh, I don't know, with a hide that thick I reckon you could use it as a protective blast furnace suit

Is George 'the man with the tan' Hamilton still kicking around? If we got him and Donatella we could create our own Louis Vuitton style luggage range
