Good Morning Oracle,

Why does my hair only behave itself on client free days? On the days when I have them coming in droves it misbehaves and goes all floppy but on no client days it sticks up nicely.

Eternally confuzzled by such mysteries,

poki

Now see, the whole “big hair” thing is something that has intrigued me for a while now. I always see adds on TV extolling the virtues of shampoo that’ll put “more air in my hair” but as a bloke, I would prefer a shampoo that put less “air in my hair”

If your hair is bugging you that much, perhaps you could try out an oh-so-fashionable Sinead O'Connor look – although I’m not sure that a bald head died purple is such a good idea Failing that, maybe you could try wearing a beanie – it is winter after all or, because your clients already know that your nuts (about Minis ), you could also try wearing a helmet while you meet your clients

Was that helpful?

Very helpful Mr Oracle. I like the helmet idea and if I wear it all the time, I won't have to worry about helmet hair either. All the boy clients love asking about the car and whether I have tracked it yet and how I went at Eastern Creek. Now I can skip those pleasantries and move straight onto the "yes, it is a church. It IS a big block of land we have here, that IS Wyong River through the Lantana. Yes, I DO live in the front bit, no actually, I miss travelling to work every day. YES my new office is much nicer than my old one. Yes, that water tank is HUGE blah blah blah"

You have saved me at least 15 seconds per client Oracle! How shall I ever repay you!

You can repay me by posting pictures up here of you meeting with a client with your helmet on
