Andrew, I believe that this was PM'd to me by mistake

Dear Oracle,

I have a 'friend' who is thinking about putting Knight Rideresque LED's in the bonnet scoop of his MINI cooper s, how difficult do you think it would be for me, I mean him to undertake this project?

Regards,
Anonomous

It's not me
The hardest part would be getting the scoop LED's in synch with the number plate LED's which IMO look quite smart Orange? or blue, not that I'm particularly interested.

I think it would be really cool if "your friend" matched the LED's to the orange colour of the interior lighting Would something like that qualify as “bling”? or would you need to have under sill neon lighting and phat chrome wheels to make it bling worthy?

you're the Oracle I don't suppose mock chrome hubbies would cut it, do you?
Could be an interesting project, turning a perfectly styled car into what would look like the love child of a cylon warrior and Kitt

If you had spinner hub caps then it would definitely class as bling

There in lies the problem, I would have to get manky steel wheels to put the spinners on How come people are always trying to jam the biggest wheels onto their MINIs As a salute to the minis someone should try and put the smallest possible wheels on there MINI What do you think Oracle??

I've never quite got the appeal of humongous wheels. Of all the mini wheels, I like the X lites the best (or perhaps the R99's). Apart from the fact that the X-lites look da-bomb, the tyres for them are so much more affordable than the ones for the 17" wheels. So bring on the Mini fitted with 14" wheels I say. Simon, you volunteering?

Like these?

BTW Simon, REPCO used to sell a "Knight Rider Kit" (or I guess it should be KITT). Not sure if they still do. I tryed to convince my brother to put them on his Ford Probe. Would have looks sweet

All my life, I have searched for a car that feels a certain way.
Powerful like a gorilla, yet soft and yielding like a Nerf ball. Now, at last, I have found it
