Oh, that's nasty

Re getting the bird shat off a cab roof, depends who's asking. If it's Simon, I'd have to say battery acid would be the best bet, any one else, copious amounts of water mixed with a small amount of car wash

Hey Oxy,
The soft top on the cabrio gets surprisingly dirty, rank would probably best describe it. As the oracle suggested well diluted (I prefer between 1/5 & 1/4 strength) car shampoo and lots of clean water. The roof itself is water resistant not waterproof so it's best not to use too strong a shampoo, you want to move the dirt not the sealant (which must be re-applied) A soft brush works best to release the dirt, poo etc from the roof. I would probably shampoo the roof once out of every four washes. Mine still beads like a champion

That was my phear with getting a Cabrio for my mum... with the shyte weather down here, I could imagine having a baked mud pie on the back of it every day - based on the way the Cooper S was - I dont know how long the roof would last if you washed it every few days...

Hardtop owners should never complain of having a 'dirty bum' until they have experienced the wonders of the cabrios rear end
At least they have a washer / wiper thingy, I have chamois in the boot

It's all worth it in the end though end, oh I crack myself up sometimes

BTW, thats for the use of your chamois last weekend
As far as seagulls are concerned, maybe you should get yourself a scarecrow??

All my life, I have searched for a car that feels a certain way.
Powerful like a gorilla, yet soft and yielding like a Nerf ball. Now, at last, I have found it
