| fr34king n00b! | Finally ive got one :) :) Hello fellow Aussie M2'ers!! After trying to sell my car and looking for a right mini for what seemed like FOREVER, ive finally put a deposit on a MCS and will be picking it up this Saturday 28 May 2005 Thanks to everyone in M2 for all my nagging questions here and there about anything and everything to do with a mini. (Special thanks to Sunnybaker for offering to check out a MCS in QLD , and Todd! for all of my annoying pm's ) For $35k i picked up a 2002 model with DS, DSC, Sunroof, Xenons, Climate ctrl, cloth/leather. Had to pay abit extra for Warranty ( worth the money imo ) , Tint, alarm and Chrome interior lining. The only thing i dont like on the car is that is has the 16" 5 star spokes, im getting the salesman to see if there is another 2nd hand Mini that i could swap for the 17" instead. If not ill end up with a quote for a new set of wheels. Counting the seconds til saturday - till then im planning for mods ( interior and exterior etc! ) so this definitly wont be my last post!!! Cheers everybody! -MF PS. I cant stop smiling!! ![]() |

Offline | Darrell. At least your mini will have a friend soon. Our MCS was unloaded at the docks on Saturday. Now it'll spend the next month at Motorline, tucked away getting all jazzed up. ![]() |

(btw, if u guys know where i can get my hands on glove box organiser, hot pocket, or this arm rest http://www.mini2.com/forum/attachmen...chmentid=62258 please PM me, it will save me alot of searching time ) Looking forward to the next NSW Mini gathering , cruise ( are pirate looking for hire? ) to actually meet some of you folks.Felt the EXACTLY the same, the dealer offerd me to drive it away yesterday, but the car wasnt cleaned detailed etc ( they only got the car on Friday ). No worries, only 5 days to go. Cheers - Pete. |

| Boy who made the wolf cry | That arm rest is the factory one from your dealer I think... it gets in the way of your shift I think. Glove box organiser is available from one of the advertisers here, I had one, they are reallly good quality. I have no idea what a hot pocket is.... please explain...PROJECT POLARIS - Die Wiedergeburt eines kultautos |

| Still kickin' along | Every Sunday there's usually a pirate or three at the Pie in the Sky on the Old Pacific Highway about 20min north of Hornsby. We usually meet around 9:30 and sit around talking garbage for an hour or two before we go for a blat somewhere.....you're definitely welcome to join us!! (Pie in the Sky is actually marked in the UBD, it's that famous!) |

| Boy who made the wolf cry | Scotty will dig the link up for you, the factory one has the mini logo on it and it looks quite nice. It is easiily removed. I paid $22 for mine, but the average everyone else paid was $26... very handy! PROJECT POLARIS - Die Wiedergeburt eines kultautos |

| Twincharge??? | The soft plastic thing not the older style cubby hole. There's 2 bits to it - one for the cubby hole/hotpocket slot then one between the gear knob thingy and the hand brake. I think I've still got the receipt somewhere for the part number....... ![]() |
