Australia Goodbye and farewell

We guys and gals,

After nearly three years of MINI ownership and three MINIs later, tomorrow my Cooper S gets handed over to its new owner.

I have really appreciated and enjoyed the friends I have met both on here and through the clubMINI network.

Only seems like yesterday that six of us, Me, Jasemini, Snoopy, M1N130, Cjay and Swamos met in the Brisbane BMW boardroom to discuss forming a MINI club and who was to know we'd have so much fun!

In the past three years I have learnt to appreciate cars, detail cars, drive cars and spend all Sunday afternoon admiring my MINI but due to a growing family I have had to let my baby go.

Thanks to all you out there for the fun, friendship and frikin' good times.

Who knows, in a few years time you may see me back with a new turbo S!

But until then, enjoy.

Danny

am hoping danny and his lovely family are not lost to us all, poki. clubMINI allows for associate membership of non-mini owners...that's right isn't it danny?!?!?

hope there is much more mini mateship in store for us.

cheers danny and hope you found a great new person to enjoy your car

Thanks all!

The problem is now finding a family-friendly car to take its place!

The Forester XT has been leading the pack but I have a work car (Toyota Camry zzz zzz) so there's no real rush.

While I still cannot afford it, I love CanberraCooperS' choice of a 130!!!!!

Ahhhhh; to have a spare 70k hanging around...

since you mentioned your interest in the forrester on one of our runs danny, i have been checking them out.

verrrry nice and ESPECIALLY family-friendly with all that cargo space in the back .

since it is a subaru, am thinking that there would be a performance aspect to the car that would appeal to the mini driver in you danny!?!?

best wishes for choosing the next car which will cover all your needs.

cheers
kerrie

At least you won't be leaving clubmini, I;m sure Stafan ( Cjay) will still have a spare seat in the lotus for the next mini run.

Yes, it's a sad day. However, you'd definately qualify for associate membership having made "a significant contribution" to the club. Hopefully we'll continue to see you , Kelly, Thomas and B2 around in the future.

Farewell Danny, and best of luck with the additions to the family, I hope to see you again soon.

Did you know that your original MINI is for sale in a car yard in Taringa?
