Hahaha, we got it and after all the hero talk my folks made, it was 15 minutes before I drove it... top down... H/K pumping! The car is everything I imagined then some.

How people go without Xenon's has me baffled! They are the BEST!

HEATED SEATS!!

On level 3 are crazy too! The top was down all night tonight... the outside temp was 17, with the seats on you can cruise with no regard to the cold! Just when it rains, up with the roof!

I have been eating heaps of healthy food and we were coming up to the lights and I let rip... the stench was so wrong! We just opened the top at the lights and away we went hahaha

Everyone should drive a brand new pimped up BMW convertible once in their lives.

My camera has disappeared, so I have to get the lead for my dad's camera to transfer to my computer... then you will see the shots

Todd

Good friends of my parents and myself for that matter bought a fully loaded 330ci convertible late last year. They couldn't be hassled going to collect it, our dealer is Kloster BMW / MINI Garage in Newcastle, so they demanded that it be driven up and dropped off to them Lunchtime on delivery day arrives and I look out the front of my shop (their office is one door down from me) to see a Sonora coloured 330ci arrive flanked by a black 7 series

Rob, their dealer as well as most of the Newcastle MINI owners gets out and commences to do the delivery spiel to them. Trish waves them off with a "Simon will show us how it works" So the BMW boys jump in the 7 and head back to Newcastle. Trish's husband Rick takes it for a spin and returns with a grin from ear to ear and hands the keys to Trish who throws them to me and says "take it for a burn, see what you think", Trish hadn't even driven it yet
I've driven it a few times hence as well.

They are a truly delightful car though rear legroom isn't a whole lot better than my MCSC
Subsequently, we now have a dedicated convertible only parking area

BTW
If you want a fun activity Todd, fit the protector to the rear seats for your doggies, not easy

I've driven enougn new 3's to know that a 330cic would be bloody nice Todd - that's awesome. I had a TT Roadster to myself last night too, same kind of thing Roof down all night (the snowflake came on on the way home - it was below 5 degrees outside) and I admit I had a jacket and a hat on, but I wasn't terribly cold. I did 10 laps of the racetrack on the way home too - pulled over and opened the bonnet to see if the turbo was glowing. There was a huge red glow coming from the back of the engine hahahahaha you couldn't miss it!

I would buy a convertible, as it was awesome fun, but I know the novelty would wear off, and the lack of visibility with the roof closed would send me crazy The Cooper S sunroof is large enough to keep me happy

I was rolling in my t-shrt with the heates seats cranked... I love it when you open the doors, hold down the button and the roof opens too... that is crazy!

The 18's are sick too, surprisingly nice to drive over uneven surfaces. They are quite black already though...

I just spoke to mum & dad - they were about 150km out of Mt Gamiber on the side of the road... they pulled up to do something and the TV came on. Dad decided he would change channel and proceeded to change the language from English to German instead...

So now the whole car is in German and they have no idea how to get is back... FVCKIN n00bS!!
