New MINI for Todd! maybe...

Well tonight my mum told me she is buying a new MINI...

She said, "When your dad gets back, we are selling the Merc and I am going to get a MINI that will live in Geelong every day and I will leave it here for you when Im not here" (about 60% of the time)

I said "Awesome!! What do you want to get!?!"

She said "Black with a white roof, maybe stripes and Sat Nav" (She saw Sat Nav on Oprah and now it is the besst thing since sliced bread!)

I said "THAT IS THE BEST!!"

She goes, "You and your Dad can play clubMINI and clubcobra!"

I said "Sounds good!"

I then said "What about you driving a manual!?! Could you do it?"

She flipped out "NO WAY IM GETTING A MANUAL!!!"

My mum was an excellent waterskier and was hit by a car when she was in her prime and she broke her left leg and it has been bung since... she thinks the manual is going to be a dog, but she really has to drive it before making the judgement.

So we are in negotiations...
I'm thinking... CF splitter, ALTA CAI... maybe some black and white sheepskin seat covers.

Thumbs up Coolness!

The MCSa is a great compromise Todd, have you driven one?
I was out in my mothers yesterday afternoon, flick it into SD, and it's all 'round

great news todd!

one thing i did notice between my car and the mini is that after i drove the mini for 30 mins on my test drive, my legs felt a bit tight as the mini i had to work a bit more with the clutch, whereas my current car is very light to drive.....so maybe the auto would be good for your mum

We are about to have the discussion...

Im keen - I think that I will give the Auto a go before I judge...

Like you say the best MINI is a FREE MINI!!!!

Nike - Cadel is a family friend... he brought my Dad's 66 Mustang (see his WEBSITE) a few years ago when he signed with Mapai and we have kept in touch with him since along the way as he has gone through the seasons in Europe. I was into MtB riding at the time and he gave me half of his VOLVO Cannondale team clothing...

I think he is a top bloke, I have spent abit of time with him discussing his plans etc. and he is quite inspiring... I love changing my sig's so I thought I would let my support be known for him.

My dad just arrived home from the US with a book for me about Lance Armstrong's 6 wins and his approach to this TdF... I will read it in the next few days. I would buy a road bike but I dont have a lot of cash right now... I also got cleaned up by a car in 2001 after the women drove out of a car park into me and wrote my bike off - I have a beach cruiser now and I take it very easy.

Im thinking of getting a new MtB in the next few months... I just have to get sorted finaincially before i go and throw $2000+ at a bike.

Oh yeah a B/W MCS was my first choice, but a friend that I had a bit of a falling out with from high school got that combo about 2 months before I got the RnBS.

He has crashed it as much as I have too

Lima - Up yours
