Offline | What do you think? (not much convincing needed though)Man was that an impressive workshop! The whole dealership puts the one in Canberra to absolute shame. 4 month waiting list instead of 9 too. As I said to a couple of you last night, how pi ssed would you be if you paid a million bucks for a roller only to see another roller parked 2 cars away . It's only when you get to stand right besides them that you realise what tanks they are. Is it just me, or does anyone else think the fronts of those things resemble a Mack truck?? Thanks again Kyle for giving me a lift and for letting me drive back!!! Was a damn good night. Hopefully by having future clubMINI meetings on Fridays or over the weekend more non Sydney people will be able to attend ![]() Jan 06 MCS Checkmate |

Offline | What can you say about a workshop that was so clean it resembled a science lab? There was not even a hint of oil smell about the place. I had a good look under a Cooper that was minus CVT. It looked like there had been much disassembly to get that far. Thanks for steering back Andrew, and enjoy your Krispy Kremes. I delivered some of my purchase to my office after leaving you, and was home just on 1am. I have been asked whether or not it would be worth the journey to get Bender serviced in 6300k at Trivett. The Roller certainly had "road presence" Thanks to the committee for organising the meeting and venue. Look forward to seeing more faces at the observation day. K & M |

| Boy who made the wolf cry | Rollers are the S-H-I-T! There is nothing better in the luxury premium market... Maybach's are ugly! Bentley's are not as good... My dad's mate just got a Maybach... I hate it - its champagne. If I had the bucks I would have a Roller in black. ![]() PROJECT POLARIS - Die Wiedergeburt eines kultautos |

Offline | Meeting Wrapup! Thanks to all those who were able to make it last night. We had over 30 members turn up for a very informative and must say impressive tour of what could possibly be the cleanest BMW/MINI workshop in the country. A big thankyou to Andrew and Kyle for coming up from Canberra just for Krispy Kreme's and then deciding to call past for the meeting There was lots of new faces last night as well which was great to see. Also must thank the team from Trivett Classic MINI Garage for providing the venue and and interesting evening Cheers Stu PS. Robbo and I were laughing last night at the 'spinners' on the rims of the rollers. Whenever you stop the RR is always the right way up. So a Rolls is the first and ultimate pimp mobile!!! 2002 BRG MCS with more mods than can remember The thieves choice in race cars ![]() 2005 BEP MCS stock standard and staying that way |

Offline | That workshop was huge and it was clean! I'd expect the mechanics to cruise around in white lab coats! Did you see the size of the wheels on that Rolls!!! I have seen trucks with smaller wheels.. Like Andrew said it isn't till you get up close you see how solid it is, but if I had a cool $1 million I think I could come up with a nicer machine to buy... |

Offline | Hi, Thanks to everyone who turned up, and thanks to everyone at Trivett for organising the night The workshop was seriously impressive I liked the whizz bang machine (forget its name) where you drive the car on, and within a few seconds it weighs each corner of the car, checks the brake force on each wheel, checks the handbrake, and also checks the shock absorbers As for the rollers ...... I'm wating for one of those cable TV shows, to see them "pimp" a roller, or alternatively turn one into a real "roller", eg one of those 10T things that flatten the ashphalt I know it is just a matter of time A few weeks ago on one of those shows they transformed one of Kyle Petties NASCAR racecars into a street sweeper Cheers Robbo Mods: GO MADDIE and SPARKY! |
