clubMINI Q visits Canberra and Sydney

Too all our clubMINI mates in Canberra and Sydney,

Ashley (Indi_Booze) and I will be passing through Canberra on the way to the snow, and through Sydney on the way home. It would be great, as usual, to catch up for a bite to eat, and maybe another pie or 3 in the sky.

Black Betty's getting a little too stiff in her old age (she turned 2 last Sunday) to be doing the return trip from Bris - Like Stu and Robbo, I can't wait until Number 2 arrives - so this time we are flying a little higher than last time.

Anyway, we are arriving at CBR at 10.25am on Saturday 30 July for the night.

We will be heading into SYD at 10.30am on the following Saturday, 6 August, and flying home to BNE at 6.00pm the next day.

Hope we can catch up.

Ken

Liam,

I assume these guys arrive at the Airport? Could we arrange a convoy to meet and collect them. I can also bring the luggage wagon.

Yep, those our our arrival and departure times at Canberra airport.

Since Black Betty won't be playing hide and seek in the Smiggin's Hotel car park this year, we will be bussing it from Canberra to Smigg's. So, we decided to stay at the Novotel next to the Jolimont Transit Centre on Northbourne. That way, if you guys party as hard as you talk , all we have to do is roll down the stairs and onto the bus in the morning

I'll give you guys a lift all the way to the snow and back - for a free lift ticket (I've got magnetic ski racks - you can supply the chains)

1 metre of snow in the last week - I'm very jealous

Can't have been me, I don't drink coffee Alcohol on the other hand I've embarrassed my self throwing up in front of so many people over the years. Worst was hacking my guts out on the side of Northbourne Avenue in front of my new flat mates parents (quite country folks who had come down to Canberra from Tamworth to see who their daughter was sharing a house with )

So long as you didn't chuck on them mate. Mrs Tux and I were talking about this very subject just last night. It took me a while to listen to myself..."never again."

That explains the dead tree on the footpath outside the Rex

Seriously though, why don't some of you take a day off work and come up and enjoy the white stuff - if you ski as well as you drink coffee, should be a bit of fun
