I can pickup my MC

Placed order 02/05/05.
June production.
The ship arrived 08/08/05.
TNT transported my car to the dealer 12/08/05.
Delivery date 23/08/05.

How come it takes 11 days for my dealer to prepare my car?

I would be less than chuffed unless your dealer can come up with a bloody good excuse for not getting your baby to you sooner.

Hassle them for some freebies to compensate for the stress and anguish caused by the excessive delay.

Congratulations. You been to the dealer to visit it yet?

My carr arrived on a Tuesday, on that morning they told me it would be a week. We were facing a long weekend and I didn't like the idea of not having my new baby to fang about in. I went up that afternoon and took some photos and gave it a pat which amused the couple of staff hanging about at the time. I then asked "who do I buy a bottle of scotch for to get this beast before the long weekend" they grumbled a bit then told me I could have it Friday.... afternoon. I then gets a call Thursday afternoon telling me I could have it Friday morning. 11 days does seem extreme. Perhaps your finance is not sorted?

Moral of the story - whine your head off. Worked for me

Yeah...get some freebies on pick-up.
I managed to pick up a stuffed Red MCS for my little nugget 'Enzo' to chew/ hump on. Just make sure to pick out something in the glass cabinet whilst your waiting for them to bring your car down.....then attck them for it!
