A1GP Eastern Creek Nov. 4-6. THis is apparently the date for the Australian round of the 'self-proclaimed' rival to F1 (more F3)

Anyone going to this? Thought I might go out to see

No mention at all on RPM or channel 10 - I assume it has somethign to do with their F1 television rights maybe... nothing in the papers, it all seems a little strange to me.

How do they expect to make it big without advertising or building awareness?

I know about it too, I just thought that if you expect it to be any success, you have to let people know about it...

We'll proably see a big push in advertising closer to the date. Were still a little under 2 months away. Give the weekend and it'll be everywhere if its going to be anywhere.

Timmeh, have you heard of what support races they'll have as Euro races are pretty spectacular apparently.

Strangely enough, I when I was at Wakefield today there was a guy with a Ferrari 360 Challenge racecar, who was saying he needs to get his CAMS license to C4 so he can compete in the support races at the A1

I have a possie reserved already. We are providing the data feeds and tech infrastructure for the broadcast, media centre and administration. They are not mucking around in the setup thats for sure.

May have to be one of those jobs I need to 'supervise' closely!!!
