Blue Cooper How Many KMs on a tank?

How many kilometers do you get on a tank of gas? I'm getting just under 400kms on pretty much a full tank (low fuel light comes on). This is in an 04 MCS with Alta Intake.

On average, I get about the same with my MCS, depending how I drive. However, on long trips I've got over 500 if I remember correctly.

Cheers.

I get around 560 km, helped by about 65% highway driving.

It really depends on how I'm driving. I've got a 04 MCS, if I'm driving relatively conservatively I can get close to 550-600 kms. For the most part I'm getting around 400-450 though.

600 km if I red line it every gear. 680 or so if I drive slower.

I get about 400ish kms a tank, then again, I drive my car very hard, have a/c always on, and have a 16% pulley on it.

Unhappy

380kms on my tank, and my low fuel light came on. I haven't really been driving the car hard at all. this seems a little low to me. maybe I'm just nuts?

I normally get between 450-520. I drive my MCS hard from time to time, but I generally drive it conservatively.

ChilliSteve, it depends on what kind of driving you're doing. It's possible to use more fuel by pushing harder on the accelerater than you need to maintain a certain speed. For example, I was driving one day and I noticed that I could lift my foot off the accelerator a slight bit and still maintain the speed I was doing. When I looked at the OBC, I noticed that the amount of fuel being used had changed significantly.

I got 400kms on my last tank, and it was 45.26 litres to fill. that's 11.35l/100km or 20mpUSg. a far cry from the "advertised" number. I get about 550 (at most) highway driving. cruise usually set around 130km/h.

Always over 500km

I start looking for gas at the 500km mark and have dragged it out to 540km. Most of my driving is highway, a bit of stop and go if I leave at the wrong time. JCW DS and 60km a day on the Deerfoot.
