FREE iPod nano - Mini Richmond offering it (plus adaptor kit) on new Mini purchase!!!

Well, here's an interesting promo - looks like Mini Richmond (in BC) got a hold of some black 4gb iPod Nanos, and have decided to do a promo where while quantities last, every new Mini sold gets one of those nanos PLUS the iPod adaptor kit installed!!!

I think that's around a CDN$800+ value or so.

Considering how rare the nanos still are (I've been looking for one, no one seems to have stock), that's not a bad deal at all.

Makes me wish that I was buying my MINI today Oh well, on the bright side, I have had the pleasure of driving my Millie for the past couple of years!!

Still, a free iPod nano + adaptor kit with a Mini purchase deal - I must admit, that's brilliant

I drove by last weekend. They didn't look like they had many cars in stock. A few convertibles parked out in their storage lot maybe.

I guess there's a bunch of 06's on their way. I'll have to find some time to swing by.

Some of us got a free 30GB iPOD at the various Mini Test Fly events around the country. $800.00 is a little high; I think the adapter is around the $200-300 mark including installation, while the 4GB Nano is $279 (for me, anyway, with free laser etching!).

Still, it's fun to have something a little different!

That's pretty close - I paid $299 for my nano at Future Shop - Ottawa doesn't have the benefit of an Apple super store...

I am getting my dealer to install the ipod adaptor kit - I think the price was around $200 plus 1 hour estimate labor. I would like that done for free since I haven't picked up my car yet and haven't gotten anything thrown in yet... sigh.

Oh, I forgot to add that the installation was free as well. According to the information card/voucher I received, the approximate value was $800 - cost of the ipod player, installation, etc.

So if the Mini Test Fly events ever make it back (and I'm pretty sure they're an annual thing), make sure you do attend.
