When should we determine the fast and normal speed groups? and whoever made the pdf handout did such an amazing on it, good work!

If he needs some wheels and wants to blend in with the pack - I could look at lending him a dealer DEMO. If anyone else out there is in need of a MINI for the event - give me a shout at the dealership and I'll see what I can do.

I believe we decided that we will all be driving about the same spirited (but somewhat normal) speed.

Well on the handout I made, I stated that we will travel as a group to Ghost Lake, take some pictures, stretch our legs a little bit, I think staying there for a maximum of 15 minutes. Then the guys who want to drive faster through the twisty section into Canmore can leave first, I'm sure most people would just stay with the main group, but I know some of the guys might be itching to give their MINIs a little work out in those awesome twisty corners between Ghost Lake and Canmore

If that's the case, then they should slow down again (or pull over) and let the rest of us catch up before we get to Canmore.

I think the main idea here is to have fun for everyone. The last thing I want to see on a run is the main group coming up to find a MINI in a ditch (or worse)...

thank guy, I told him that. I think He will follow us, more fun driving them be the passager. He sold is Mini when he bougth is golf and he does rally now with the golf. He just bougth is Miata, it's maybe is wife Miata. anyway, the weather look great, I'm sure will be a lot of fun. see you there

Sounds like a plan, but I wonder, does anyone else have walkie talkies? Would make things a little easier if we had 1 or 2 more.

What about the idea of you and your wife taking pictures/videos of the MINIs coming around a corner? How shall this be done?

Perhaps we will run ahead a little ways after the rest stop, and have everyone parade past. Then we'll catch up, pass a few of you guys if possible, and rejoin the pack somewhere in the middle.

I think my BIL might have an FRS(?) set too. If so, we should be able to set it to the same channel.

Thats cool

Most likely we won't have to use them much, I think we'll only be using it a couple of times to coordinate a couple of road side stops to gather up the MINIs. Perhaps the fast group (if it exists) can take one so they can page us when they're stopped by the police and recieve speeding tickets

Possibly MINIVEE can use it to coordinate the picture/video taking a little bit as well.
