The meeting date is Sunday 20th of November, 2005
Location: Crowfoot village, outside Chapters, right across the street from your local MINI Dealership
Time: 12pm Noon
Route: Highway 1A to Canmore - Lunch - Highway 1A to Calgary Route Map
I suggest having the next MINI meet on Sunday - that way it gives us MINI sales people the chance to join up and have some fun too! I would hate to miss out on all that fun!
Canmore sounds like a good idea. We can always set a date for the next trip and choose our path closer to the time depending on the weather conditions.
A winter rally would be a great idea! Lobby your local MINI dealer to have them sponsor the event. Perhaps with a sufficient amount of harrassment, they will host the event.
That makes sense We'll leave the poll open for a week or so and see what the general concensus is, I'd love to have you MINI MAs come, its great fun to see the people who sell MINIs love them so much
Hopefully she will come. She is scheduled to leave Southampton on Wednesday the 19th and arrive in Halifax on the 26th. Now I guess it all depends how quickly she will clear customs and make the cross Canada journey. I'm hoping to get her before the 11th (start of the ski season) but I don't know if that's very likely.
Had a blast on Sunday!!! Don't care which day we pick. I'll go in and vote for a Sunday because I'm hoping for a free lunch (ha, ha). I had to go to work after coffee last time, but no rush in November (don't have to work weekends).
Seriously though, maybe MINI will pay for our speeding tickets if you company guys are there.
Driving is Everything ... Anything else is just waiting around ...
Ill Look in to the winter rally with the CSCC and let you guys know.
Side Note: Another good idea would be to have a December meet where we go skining/snowboarding as a group. I say December because I'm not sure how much snow will be on the hill tops in November.
That would be great although I don't know how many here ski/snowboard. If enough people are up for it Sunshine already has a decent amount of snow and more snow is in the forecast so I think it would be highly unlikely for them to not open on their scheduled opening day (November 11). In the past couple years they have been wide open by late November. Louise in my opinion isn't ever worth going until the end of December while Kicking Horse doesn't open until December 16th but will most likely have good conditions by then. In my opinion if anyone would be up for a ski trip Sunshine is the best bet unless of course we wait until next year.
On a side note my MINI is shipping is shipping out today from Southampton and is arriving in Halifax on the 26th!!!
