Offline | WOOHOOO! Its not much but probably enough to cover the smaller roads (I hope), can't wait to do some handbrake turns! ![]() According to The Weather Network's ultra long term forcast: I've always wondered how accurate these forcasts are, we'll find out in a week! |

Offline | Great! I guess I'll be sleeping on my desk at work tomorrow - everyone will stay home. But at least I can, at last, give these bloody snow tyres a try. Pessimistic me put them on 6 weeks ago. If I'd left the grand in the bank I would have made at least ten cents interest ![]() Have fun in Florida, MiniVee. I think the hurricanes are done for now . p.s My sig won't work - did for a short while, but I think it exceeds the size limits(?) |

Offline | Yes I am still waiting too. I need snow to justify the new snow tires and wheels I just bought. I sadly lost cornering putting away my fresh new summers but hope the snow fun gets the adrenalin going again. Very curious to see how my mini performs vs my A4 quattro....(yes it's still for sale )cheers, checkm8 (2006 CooperS+JCW+Checkmate+Premium+HK) |

Offline | Isn't it amazing how inaccurate these forcasts are? Even for the NEXT DAY they're no where close. No snow at all during daylight hours! You know what that means... icy morning tomorrow! I think your MINI is going to do great with those snow tires, you still wont' have as much traction when starting out, but you won't have any major problems either One thing I really like about MINIs is how evenly both front wheels get power, so its not as easy to spin one wheel when you put the power down, unlike the Volvo 850 I had before, it always spun the front right wheel on take off, and that means no power goes to the left wheel, that means I don't really go anywhere! ![]() |

Offline | Heh heh. Been walking around in shorts in 81 degree weather <ducks> High humidity though Briefly contemplated going into downtown Orlando to find a MINI dealer and taking a MINI for a test drive... But I probably should get some work done... Faster,Tobias!, oopsy on my part , but I see you're sorted out now. |
