| MINI2 Master | This is my second MINI Cooper: 2005 cabriolet, HyperBlue with blue soft-top, premium package (including the awesome HK stereo), foglamps, blue interior trim, interior chrome line, compact spare. It rides on 15" rocket wheels during the winter but 16" X-lites with Fuzion Zri 205/50R16W tires for the summer (just got them). My first Cooper was a 2002 Launch Edition, IndiBlue with a white roof, sport package, heated seats and external chrome line. It rode 16" X-lites with Dunlop WinterSport M3s for the snow and 16" Monzas in summer with Goodyear Eagle NCT5s, no spare. Both are 5-speeds though the '02 had a Midlands Powertrain box while the '05 has a Getrag. Both are good boxes, with the '05 having slightly shorter gearing. I love the cabriolet! I absolutely love it. I feel claustrophobic whenever I have to put the top down now. Harry MINI Cooper Cabrio: now the car with go cart handling really feels like an open go cart! Offline | I've been lurking here since the beginning of January while trying to decide which car I'd like to buy. This would be my first car ever, and what a way to start! The convenience of Calgary's mass transit system allowed me to put it off for quite some time. The great information, experience, and discussions here on MINI2 deepened my interest in this awesome car! Sooo... I just ordered an MSCa, BRG with white roof, mirror caps and bonnet stripes, and DSC from Craig at MINI Crowfoot this afternoon. Looking forward to finally getting it? Is it here yet? Is it here yet? Is it here yet?! |

Offline | No Casey, it ain't here yet..... ![]() And you should know that you are receiving the LAST 2006 custom-specc'd Cooper 'S' from our dealership. We have no more allocation for May production, and (I guessed right) the only cars that can be had for June onward are 'Special Edition'. |

Offline | MiniVee, it seems that we both have excellent taste in paint. I did think that BRG was a little bit of a classic color, (why I don't know) so that's why I chose it. The other colors do look sharp, indigo blue with white or even black with white were also in close running. I haven't seen any other BRG's driving around in Calgary, although I'm sure they exist! After seeing your pictures (I kid not!) I confrimed my liking of BRG, beautiful car!! It's sometimes hard to tell what it will really look like with just the mini.ca configurator. If you're worried about ours looking the same, I will have different rims, the 16" X-lites. Reading Tobias' replys on the other thread, it seems that I got the timing just right... mere hours difference could have meant I was waiting till february for my specific Mini. It's possible I'll be out next weekend, although my Mini will be merely a work order on a piece of paper, a collection of aluminum ingots and a roll or two of sheet metal at that point. |

Driving is Everything ... Anything else is just waiting around ... |
