So who can tell me where the best places in Canada are to buy "stuff" to clean my MINI with? I used to use Meguiars products on my previous car with good results, but that stuff appears difficult to get these days. The Crappy Tire cleaning isle seems to mostly be filled with low-end products like Turtle Wax .

I'm considering moving away from my genuine shammy and switching to something else. Thoughts? I also need a good wash-mitt...

For what it's worth, Canadian Tire out here in Toronto carry a full line of Maguiars stuff, including the Gold Seal (I think that's what it's called) and NXT. I'd love to find a Canadian distributor for real zymol and not the Turtle Wax "zymol" that's sold at Canadian Tire. This is all stuff I have to start worrying about now, since my MINI should be here in a couple of weeks!!

In this end of the country, Zellers had McQuiars cleaning stuff (wax, wax remover, wash, wheel cleaner etc) on sale for 25% off.

Also various 3M brushes and sponges for car washing was on sale for 25% off.

Good time to stock up.

I have a stash of wash mits from Costco.

i get most of mine from the states... that said... i can get a few things here, namely the 303 aerospace protectant, #40 maguire's plastic cleaner, and a few other things

but almost all the good stuff comes from the states

Ever tried Zaino? I put a coat on back in December of last year, and today its still beading water like crazy. No real wax I tried lasted this long before.

that's the ONLY thing that touches the car! well... cept the mother's claybar and the sonus polish.... still... wish i have a buffer.. hand polishing=not a very good job!

Meguair's stuff is availabe you just gotta be willing to check around. i order most of my stuff from the net or i drive down to the states and go to Pep Boys and stock up there for hard to find stuff here.

where you from b/c i can tell you some good places around me if you're close.

i gotta try Zaino still. heard good reviews but we'll see. how much is a bottle worth and where can i get it from?
