Vancouver, BC - Sunday, May 28 - VMCC Not-Quite-Harrison-Lake Drive!!

Calling all Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley MINI owners:

The Vancouver MINI Cooper Club is holding another club drive, this time to picturesque Harrison Mills (near Harrison Lake, hence the title).

Here are the details:

When: Sunday, May 28, 2006

Where: The south-east parking lot of Coquitlam Centre
(corner of Barnet Highway (Hwy 7A) and Pinetree Way, Coquitlam)

Time: Arrive early to support a on-time departure of 10 am precisely (translation: be at the meeting point at 9.40am - 9.45am)

Destination: Harrison Mills for a picnic lunch (bring your own lunch)

Time required for drive: 4-5 hours

End Point: the rest stop on the westbound side of Highway 1, west of Abbotsford.

Bring along: full tank of gas, two-way radios if you have them, a picnic lunch, and a camera - we usually take lots of piccies!


We invite all New Mini owners in the Lower Mainland to come join us for this drive.

If you are not a member, and this is not the first time you are attending one of our drives, we highly encourage you to become a member. First-timers, come to this drive and see if you like what we do!

*bump* and update:

Just a few days away from this drive, the long range weather forecast calls for sunshine on the day of the drive (this Sunday), and we will still be going through Harrison Mills, but may have the picnic lunch at/near Agassiz instead.

It should be a fun day for motoring!

That was a blast! 14 cars braved the rain for a wonderful, twisty drive to Agassiz for a picnic lunch. Thanks to Marty and Desmond for another great run.
