Six days is going to seem like a lifetime, no?

I've been looking for a used MINI Cooper S for some time now. Anything listed on Autotrader is usually either:
- already sold; or
- too expensive ($45k is a little rich for my tastes).

On Monday morning my wife did a Canada-wide search. Up popped a new ad for a pepper white with black roof, black stripes, and 3788 km. They were asking $28900.

When she phoned me I said, "That's a typo. No way it could only have 3788km."

She called the seller -- no, that's really the mileage. The owner passed away and his son is selling the car.

Because I have family in Winnipeg, I dispatched a Test Drive Team. They gave me a full report and two thumbs up. I've made an offer, it's been accepted, and now I have to wait!

I fly to Winnipeg on June 30th, then I'll drive it back home on July 2nd.

I'm anxiously counting the minutes!

Congratulations, and welcome. What year is the S? That's barely broken in!

You're lucky, only having to wait a week. Still, I'll bet you're bouncing around by Friday.

It's a 2004. My brother-in-law took some photos, but I'm too new here to post a link to them.

It's only six days, but I'm already going crazy. This is only going to get worse.

I'm in Winnipeg for work all week. Should have told me....could have saved you a trip. lol.
