Hood rub service bulletin

Are you folks aware of the 'hood rub' issue?

I visited the dealer after noticing that at several locations under the hood, the paint has almost completely worn away to bare metal. The service manager told me he had never seen this before.

I did some research and found that there is a service bulletin from MINI about this.

Then check under your hood!

i thought we were not allowed to call them hood, or trunk. aren't we obliged to use the words bonnet and boot? cor blimey my 'ead urts now
