Offline | Yes, it is definately the race enthiusiasts car, but w/o the sunroof there is a good chance the cars would sit..and sit..and sit..I know where they could have sold a third, anyway But when they were originally announced I didn't want one, and that is why all of ours were specc'd with premium package.I have the chrome line interior in the current car - it doesn't look bad with the anthracite dash. |

Offline | Not to beat you up any further, Craig, but you did this to yourself. How dare you sell one of two very unique JCW's. Especially one that had your name on it. The Hyper Blue one here in E-town is for sure the most unique package based on its color and lack of premium packaging. Maybe you can buy #1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 from MINI Canada when they are done with them. But you would have to live with a sunroof. |

Offline | Shhhhh.....my plan 'B'. Those cars will be put up by MINI for bidding on by the dealers. MINI never had five, just four. Number 4 is a press car, meaning writers are bagging the crap out of it. Number 3 is the CR/W which is currently running in the Targa - now that car interests me! If the price is right I could use the money to remove the glass and put in the retractable vinyl top ($1600). ![]() |

Offline | I called the dealer there today and it seems that they only have a Astro Black CP left forsale. I could of got the CR/W CP, but contemplated too long (I know, what is there to think about...) and it got sold ![]() I do agree with you the edmonton dealership seems to care about the sale more than the sales experience. I've dealt with crowfoot and they are awesome! V. |

Offline | #9 is (hopefully) my HB/B car ![]() I know of at least one HB/B car that was delivered here in Vancouver at least a week ago... so not the first in the country. I guess you still have 24 hours or so to convince your clients that they really want a 2007 instead ![]() |

Offline | Don't have to tell me - I bought my Cooper there 2 years ago May 1st back in the day of the 3 Mikes. Had a very good buying experience at Crowfoot and also my first service for minor adjustments was well attended, and the staff as you say are indeed interested in MINIs. Go figure!I still hold out hope for the MINI Edmonton dealership that someday the sales staff will show some passion for the product. Were I buying again today I would not hesitate to visit Crowfoot again, alas I cannot seem to convince the other (better?) half that she really ought to have a Cooper S. She mutters something about "you can't have 2 MINIs, that's just not practical..." which I can't seem to follow the logic there... is it just me? Anyhow we are considering a new E90 in the spring... Craig, do you also sell those BeeEmDoubleU's as well as MINI? ![]() |

Offline | There is a vinyl replacement for the glass - it would save about 40lbs, as that glass is heavy. And it opens up much further, rolling all the way back because that back glass is also gone. But as I said, it ain't cheap. If I really, really have too! Yea, I can sell those 'other' cars, but I'm still learning about most of the product. It's not like MINI, where you have two types of car and two variations, with the packages are pretty much the same no matter what model. On that side there are a bazillion variations...it makes my head hurt...![]() |

Offline | I would stay away from the vinyl option unless you can swap it in/out with the OEM sunroof, Faster. While it would save weight, I'm pretty sure that it would prove to be a mistake come winter time ![]() It makes one wonder if it would be possible to rip the roof off a mini and put a new one on, though... What may be more practical economical, however, is replacing the glass panels with lighter plexiglass versions. It would save weight, allow the sunroof to be used, and with proper decalling won't even look that bad! |

Offline | I just finished watching Italian Job for the third time. Chili Red and White it is. Thanks Ms. Theron. Amazing how the aerokit stays on after all that serious driving. |

Offline | Oooh... now I have to rent it and watch again too! Possibly when my wife isn't around to roll her eyes ![]() BTW, Canadian... don't let the Mrs. know what influenced your decision to stick with the Red and White! Have fun on your test drive tomorrow... don't forget to take tons of photos ![]() |

Offline | We saw sunshine today for the first time in weeks so I took the opportunity to pamper my baby. She was washed, dried, waxed, polished, vacuumed and generally restored to near new condition. It was a labour of love and she looks really good. It will be a sad day to see her go; she has been very good to me, no problems and no tickets in 75,000 kms. If it had not gotten dark before I finished I would have taken pictures. Perhaps tomorrow, for inclusion in the family album. Does anybody know how Jim and Brian finished in the Targa Newfoundland Rally? |

Offline | Hey Canadian, how was your test drive? Any pics? Meanwhile, the auto trader has COMPLETELY screwed me over. My ad is not online... at least not anywhere I can find while searching Alberta and BC for any Porsche. I am pretty upset... no, scratch that, VERY upset. It's no wonder I'm not getting that many calls. I want this car to sell so that I can get the CP package. The trade-in on it is laughable, so private sale is the only way... and now nothing but frustration. I am calling them tomorrow to try and sort this out, but right now I must say that I really, really worry that I may not be able to get this car ![]() |

Offline | Just returned from competing in Targa Newfoundland '06 in our '74 BMW 2002tii... Was so impressed with the Minis that upon my return home today I put a deposit on #62 and will be picking it up this Thursday here in Halifax... Told the dealer "Race on Sunday/Sell on Monday..." |
