Offline | Mini Vee down and out Just thought I'd let the gang here know that Vee is in the Rockyview right now awaiting surgery. Gull stones. The attacks got so bad they decided to keep him till an OR comes available. He could be there up to 7 days...with no food or water !If anyone has some spare MC2 mags especially the last one which we bought and lost in the move. He would love to be reading it! Or older Go Minis. He really needs some good reading. I think if horrifies him that I'm out here driving Sheamus around and not him. ![]() He is is unit 72 room 16. T |

Offline | Yikes, gallstones. At least he can take comfort in he is ditching some unnecessary weight and Sheamus should perform that much better! After adding the JCW airbox and exhaust, and now he can't drive. The injustice! I'll try to dig up some reading material for him. |

| 05 MCS BEP | get well soon, Mini Vee I lost my gall bladder about 12 years ago. So I know how you feel. Anyways, the reduced weight of the driver (removal of stones and one gall bladder) should yield you an extra 10th of a second Hope your recovery goes well. 05MCS BEP - Alta 22mm rear anti-swaybar, Madness CAI, Alta 15%, NGK BRK7EIX |

Offline | Well, I lived through it, and got home just now. Thanks for the kind words, guys. It will be a few more days before they let me touch anything other than a shopping cart; those are some powerful drugs they've got me on , much stronger than Tylenol 3's.Funnily enough, I also thought about how losing some body parts would benefit my MINI motoring experience . In addition to the gall bladder and associated stones, I estimate I also lost about 10 lbs in body mass due to the fact I had not eaten nor drank anything between Thursday supper and Monday breakfast -- the nurses wouldn't give me anything other than an IV, since I was on standby for surgery. Plain rolled oats never tasted so good!I tell you, laying in a bed staring at a ceiling and a bunch of community health announcements for 3 days with your stomach grumbling isn't much fun neither. Thankfully T came by often to cheer me up, otherwise I would have gone mad!![]() www.MINICalgary.com |
