Offline | Luc, Ahhhh.... Koni FSDs did not fit!!!! Apparently 02 Canadian Launch Editions have different specs then the 02 US models. So now I have to wait for another week and a half for Koni Sports to come in... I don't seem to have a lot of luck on my side... So yet again, I won't be able to make it to the run. But I'll give you a call when my car is up and running again. Randy |

Offline | So what's wrong with using the original stock ones until the new shocks show up? Or do you have a giant jigsaw puzzle of MINI bits all over your garage floor now? ![]() ![]() www.MINICalgary.com |

Offline | Hmm... I now have to be in Calgary for an interview on Monday, so I may indeed be able to make this drive (if I can get down from Edmonton in time). Anyone have space for a passenger? I won't have a car ![]() |

Offline | I will have space for a passenger if no one else does. But you may get pressed into a bit of camera duty here and there! ![]() Is anyone else filming during this run? It would be neat to get some additional & different footage to build a movie from. ![]() www.MINICalgary.com |

Offline | I don't mind camera duty ![]() I've just confirmed my itinerary.. I'm now arriving at the Calgary airport just before 10:00am on Sunday morning. Is there anyone living in the North-Centre who might be passing by the airport on their way to Crowfoot to save a poor Mini traveller a cab fare? I'm all excited now ![]() |

Offline | I'm pretty excited to get out there and drive this weekend too. I can't even remember the last time I was on those roads, certainly I wasn't driving and certainly it wasn't a MINI. MiniVee, this will be an opportunity to get the twins together. Definitely want to check out the new mods you've done on big brother Sheamus. |

Offline | Man, no luck at all! I read your thread on NAM and I thought "You've gotta be kidding!!" You're welcome to the passenger seat if you really want to come though Otherwise I'll see you when your car gets done!Koni yellows are fine shocks too, but I've read so many times on the forum that the ride feels really stiff with lowering srings. But they should handle a bit better than the FSD and are adjustable. |

Offline | Ah, like X says, what's another 150k? I'm planning on coming down from E-town on Saturday and making Sundays run, sounds like y'all have the potential for a really good turnout. I've been in C-town on two previous run dates : once with the MINI but couldn't make it due to the Son advancing in his basketball tournament (July rally?); and then the August run when we were moving him back up after a Co-op work term, but that was in a Volvo 850, and it wouldn't have been the same... ![]() |

Offline | I have to be at the airport around that time to drop my father off. I'll confirm the time, and post later tonight. I'll be heading to the meet, but won't be staying for the run. Perhaps someone else has an empty passenger seat? |
