Green Cooper Calgary Elbow Falls Run - Oct 1

The Elbow Falls Run 2006
Sunday October 1

Come and see Fall's majestic colours!

Meet at Crowfoot Chapter's 10:15.
Leave at 11:00

We will travel south on the Old Banf Coach Road, to Highway 8, on to Bragg Creek, down the nice and twisty highway 762, on to Bragg Creek where we can have some nibblies. Then onwards to Elbow Falls for a stop. We will then continue our drive past the winter gates down highway 66, and back to Bragg Creek, If the weather is nice, we will return down highway 22 to Cochrane and stop at McKay's for some ice cream desert.

I'll be sure to show up!

I wonder if we could include highway 762 in this run? It is right near by and add maybe 15-20km to the whole route, it is probably the twistiest road near Calgary

I should be able to make this one, assuming school work doesn't get in the way.
A great idea to include 762! Best road around by far!

Pretty certain my MINI doesn't go that slow! Should I bring my push bike instead?

I'll be there. The event in May was so much fun (even if we got a time penalty for being too fast ). I meant to come out in August- just got the weekend wrong- oops! This time it's on the calendar and I'll even CHECK the calendar.

Keeping my fingers crossed that the weather will be nice- I LIKE ice cream (just not in the car)!

d~

ps. Gord if you're out there- thanks for sending me the book from the rally- I appreciate it.

We're In

I'll be down in the Elbow Valley for my son's cub camp (day camp) on Saturday, and then we will all join you for the run. We might leave you at Elbow Falls, since the kids will want a hot dog roast.
