I'm wondering if anyone has a Canadian MINI site or such.

I'm trying to get this GPS wired in, and finding stuff in Canada is proving difficult.

So does anyone know where to get a 'power take off' adaptor or scotchlok connectors in Canada?

If you search for threads about hardwiring a radar detector you will find something about it. I've seen power take off fuses where you plug it into the fuse box (located to the left of the driver's footwell) and take power from there. You can get those at walmart or Canadian tire.

There was an adapter that someone on here was selling that is a harness that attaches to the back of the radio. It then gives you two additional cigarette lighter sockets which sit behind the radio for which you "hardwire" accessories. I bought one, but never ended up using it.

Have one sitting at home.
