Leaving the JCW for Texas

Off to Texas for almost two months of training at Texas A&M. Forcing me to park the MINI for way too long. The only positve being I am parking it during the most unfavourable months of the year.

Any insight from past Texas visitors/travellers? I'll be north of Houston in a placed called College Station?

Well, at least you picked a good time of the year to go to Texas. And if you get the MINI itch, there are some local clubs in the Houston area that shouldn't be too far away.

If your gone for 2 months I would take the Mini with you, drive couldn't be that bad, and you could cruze around Texas with nice weather and beat the bad weather here!

That's what I would do anyway!

I'd second that; you could drive down in a couple of days (between storms that is) or take a little longer and see some sights. Shouldn't be a problem, there are lots of Canadian registered cars driving around down here.
