Had every intention of going. Even had my MINI dressed for the occasion.

Thanks to everyone who made it out today it was alot of fun and good conversation. I look forward to planning another run in the future and look forward to seeing the people that couldn't make it today, hopefully the people we met today will look us up here on Mini2. It was a nice sunny day, but man that wind at the "Big Rock" just goes right through you, I am just now thawing out.

Yeah, the dude on the bike is probably not telling his friends about all the cool Mini's he saw today, granted it was probably just a blur of colours when he went by. His buddy is probably happy he didn't follow in his tire tracks.

I like the pumpkin mirror caps on RS3TURN's car, that is what is so great about the Mini's you can just keep changing its appearance to fit your mood.

I will put some of my pictures from today on the gallery page tomorrow night.

A nice run, thanks Morten!

Too bad we did not find any pumpkin patches, that would have been a nice bonus.

And no cows on the road this time, which is good.

I wonder when the rice-rocket biker has his first court appearance?

I'm thinking that maybe we should swing through the berry farm down by Okotoks next summer. I have heard that the u-pick berries are of really good quality there and then it is also some additional fun for people who bring kids with them, but hey lots of time to think on that one.

I was actually thinking about that guy on the bike today, first he overtakes five cars in one shot, (we are not that small) then there is an on coming vehicle so that probably prompted him to really kick in the afterburners. He didn't leave himself with alot of room. I wonder if he is going to be answering to reckless driving as well. Based on the way he was hunched over the handle bar, he knew he really had himself in the wringer.

Any interest in getting together one night in November for a coffee or a beer? None of us seem to be at a loss of finding things to talk about.
