Was very pleased to see a new dealership being constructed, and almost finished, out by the Moncton Airport. It's a combined BMW and MINI Dealer. Yahoo - makes the drive approx. 2 1/2 hours shorter for service. No sure when they are opening - soon I would think.

I am planning to speaking to someone there as soon as they open to hopefully convince them to encourage new MINI owners to visit MINI2.com and just "maybe" we can get something going in Atlantic Canada. I know it's been hard in the past with just one dealer in Nova Scotia who were not very interested in getting involved - IMO. Hopefully this 2nd Atlantic Canada dealership will cause a bit of friendly competition and a few more MINI2 members from Atlantic Canada.

Snows quickly melting in southern New Brunswick, still lots of snow up north. Almost time to wake up Checkm8 from his winter nap - just waiting for the crater size potholes to be filled. I'm sure I'd loose the car in some of them. Cheers

Nice, I am originally born in Moncton, and lived there for 25 years. Now out in Calgary. I was back home for a summer 4 years ago, and I was all over the place looking for a MINI. Good to hear that N.B. now has a MINI dealer.

That IS good news. Sometimes it's a curse living TOO CLOSE to the dealer. Now I will be able to "justify" a day off work in the middle of summer to stretch the car's legs a bit, visit some friends or hang out at Future Shop/Chapters at the Champlain Place Mall while the car has it's day at the "spa", and finally stop at the Schnitzel Haus in Aulac on the way home for some Jaeger Schnitzel and Spatzel!

Stopped to visit the new dealer in Moncton. Spoke with the Manager. He is very interested in starting up some MINI runs in the Moncton area. Plans to start with some advertisements in the newspapers as a starting point to see how much interest is out there. Looking forward for something to happen. Will post when I see anything.

Hopefully we'll all have an opportunity to meet some time soon.

Had a quick trip to Moncton yesterday for Checkm8's 30K kilometer oil change and checkup. Left with a clean bill of health.

Great service department. Kudos to Marcel, thank you for the efficient check in and quick turnaround. In and out in an hour great service and feedback. Had an opportunity to speak to Jessica while I waited for the car. She is the MINI Associate and a very knowledgeable young lady. For a new dealership, they seem to be doing it right.

Looking forward to any runs they may have in the future. Their first two months have been too busy to allow them time to plan anything just yet.

Looking forward to meeting fellow Atlantic Canada MINI owners (hopefully sometime soon)....
