Pulley Swap in Calgary

Hey People,

First post, so please bear with me.

I've got an 03 Cooper S, and I would like to do a pulley swap. Can anyone recommend a shop in Calgary or Airdrie? Has anyone done it themselves?

Thanks

I ended up just doing it myself. Did the pulley, belt, plugs, wires, CAI, and light bar. Thanks for the tip, though.

How did it go? Any challenges? Would you do it again?

Not to bad. Took the better part of the weekend (my weekends are 4days), but that's because I did everything all at once. Had to custom build a tensioner tool. Then when I was looking at it, I was afraid to use the pulley puller I had, thought it roll the pulley. Then that would pinch the pulley tighter onto the shaft. So I ordered the Helix pulley tool.

It was a good thing I did it too. Bought the car used and didn't even think to look at the skid plate. Once I was under it, the plate was all but gone. So now I'll be ordering a new one at some point.

Yah, I would probably do it again.
