Spring Ice Cream Run

Clean off the winter dirt,
get a shine on your MINI and join us
for the 2008 Spring Ice Cream Run!

Meet in the Crowfoot Chapters parking lot at 11:00 am.
The run will leave at approx. 12:00 noon.

We will be taking a nice drive on various twisty bits of road, and end up
in Cochrane where we will be able to enjoy some tasty,
world famous ice cream at Mckay's.
Don't forget to bring your camera!

If the date has to change because of the long weekend, I can't make the weekend before but the weekend after works great as well.

Cool. I think we are in. I guess we goofed on when the long weekend was (thought it was the 24th weekend). I am good to go I believe for the 25th if we wish to change it!

That sounds like a jingle from a failed marketing plan to get kids to eat their asparagus. However, if you watch Iron Chef on the food channel, I wouldn't doubt one of the chefs has made asparagus ice cream.

That by itself is a celebration worthy of ice cream!

If anyone owns FRS radios, I encourage you to bring them. We will be using ours to communicate throughout the run; we had them on all the time during AMVIV, and we found it very handy to know what exactly was happening.

We will be using the "official" MINI channel, Channel 7 Sub 21.

Wish I could make it. Have a bunch of new bits added to my MINI.

Hopefully there won't be any accidents this year. Have fun....!!
