| MINI2 Master | Thanks for showing up everyone, it was a blast! One Cooper and three S's, what's up with that? Had my car's naturally aspirated engine and my new winter tires working pretty hard! Let's do it again sometime! Coordinating with the Honda club would be fun too ![]() I'll get the pictures up tomorrow night. | MINI2 Senior Derelict | May have found the Civic Club!! Mouhahah! I think I found them. As it happens the "Toronto Civic Club" were meeting today at Sheridan mall in Etobicoke where they were going to be provided a map and directions. BBQ too. I think this must be who Jayomatic and I were playing with. hehe. No mention of the escarpment area in this but it sounds too similar to not be these guys. http://www.torontocivics.com/tccforu...?threadid=7561 Paul |

| MINI2 Senior Derelict | It's official. The Toronto Civic Club is who Jay and I ran into. I've been monitoring their message board on a similar thread as this one and sure enough someone mentioned "seemingly endless line of Civics (+1 Matrix)." Considering the unlikely nature that there was another train of Civics with a lead Matrix taking pictures this MUST be them. ![]() Cool! Paul |

Offline | Thanks for the pictures - it was neat to see faces as we went by. I was at the end of the conga line and the guy in the red jacket with the bush hat near the beginning of the run was doing an Exorcist kind of head turning thing when we whistled passed. That plus pulling into the parking lot just before the police trap made it a really fun day. be great to see a bunch more next time. aka KWKSLVR Member: Southern Ontario MINI Club BMW Club of Canada - Trillium Chapter |

Offline | Thanks for the pics Harri. I wish I could have seen those Civics. I hate Rice burners and I love to blow by them. Andrew and I had some good fun after we left you as well. Found some more good roads. If anybody hears or knows anything about MINI's in Rallying let me know. I'm a huge fan and have been monitoring the Motorsport Forum. I have a couple pics as well but I can't figure out how to post them. I could be an idiot but let me know. |

| MINI2 Master | Gordon - yeah, seeing those police traps right after our Snake Road run had me VERY glad they were not one road over. Funny look from them too. I won't mention the speed limit on Snake Road and our velocity... The meets have been growing steadily since the first one so here's hoping they snowball. Cuda - you can add pictures to posts if the pictures are small (455 pixels wide at most?). Otherwise, you should create a personal gallery. Look above at the Gallery menu item, choose Personal and then click Create and Manage or somesuch. After creating it initially you need to upload each image individually. If that still doesn't help, PM me and I'll try to walk you through it. Rallying -- someone should ask MINI if they'd sponsor Andrew in a class. It's not like they don't have lots full of Coopers sitting around up here -- would make for good press I think. I'd love to rally one too but after watching Andrew whip that S around I know I'd have to navigate and after taking us down a dead-end street once I doubt he'd even let me do that! Offline | Hey guys, if I did it properly you will be able to see a couple of images from the meet in my personal Gallery. Nothing special, my photos are usually a little more dramatic. Maybe next time. If it didn't work, sorry about that. tirc- Ha Ha! What are the chances of that hey. Little bit of an in joke we've got going. We'll see what turns up. For anybody who even has a small amount of interest in Rallying, I suggest that you venture to the Tall Pines Rally in November. If we can get a bunch of people together we can turn it into a MINI event. If we all show up in MINI's that would be amazing. Andrew and I where at a Rally party the other night and there where three MINI's in the parking lot among all the Subarus. This is great because this is an area that I believe, MINI wants to get into. In most cases the only car you see great numbers of are Subarus and in this case MINI's where the only other car that was there in repetition if that makes any sense. |

| MINI2 Master | Thanks for posting those. See, I was there too! I was hoping you had a chance to take a few pictures while we were on the road but I guess you were having too much fun as a passenger. We'll have to bring some camera-toting passengers next time in the tail and/or lead cars. Bancroft, is that about an hour's drive from Peterborough up #28? My wife's cousin lives in Peterborough. I wonder if I could swing some kind of visit that just happens to coincide with that weekend... Harry MINI Cooper Cabrio: now the car with go cart handling really feels like an open go cart! Offline | Just for you guys I've thrown some pictures into my Gallery that I took at the last Rally which was held in Perry Sound. There are no MINIs rallying but I figured you could check them out to get you pumped for Tall Pines in Bancroft. I wonder if we should post a new thread to see if there would be some other MINI drivers interested in attending this event. I think I'll see if I can start one. Reply if you see it. Also, how do I view my own gallery. again, idiot question |

| MINI2 Senior Derelict | So I signed up on the Toronto Civic Club (TCC) message board and have been chatting with the guys that Jayomatic and I ran across the other day. Nice bunch of guys. Jay, good thing we didn't push that Civic in front of us. If he's telling the truth as to what he's done to that Civic my MCS wouldn't have stood a chance... Here's what he had to say: "I'm driving a 5th gen civic with a 94 Integra GSR, Greddy turbo... Pushing 241 Hp and 187 ft/lbs tourque at the wheels" Ouch! That's one serious car and a CRAZY amount of $$$ he's put into it. Paul |

| MINI2 Master | To view your gallery (I know, there should be an option to view it from the manage & create menu) go to gallery/personal and go to the bottom and click on page 20. Right now, the gallery for MINI CUDA lives on page 20 but as more new people make galleries, that page number will change. I keep a link to my gallery in my .sig so I (and other people ) can find it.I'm interested in going to Tall Pines but not sure I can schedule it right now. Company XMas party is supposed to be on the 22nd (Friday night) so I'd have to make it there Saturday morning. We'll see...
