Just washed my car, and she looks brand new. Now I'm going to store her away in the garage until the big meet!

Can't wait to see all the Mini's!!

This will probably make me look stupid, and understand, this is an imperfect science. But here's a wee shot for a week's forecast for the Mini Meet. And I am so paranoid about arriving in a clean car.. maybe you will be too!?

Temperature: 0c, Winds 20kts+, Overcast,Light Flurries

Ya don't like it, call my school, they gave me a degree in meteorology...and the data came from here:

Weather network says -1 with light snow for the 9th but their long-range forecasts are notoriously incorrect. I worked for AES for a while and yet I don't trust forecasts longer than a day or two.

My car will be washed on Friday at the latest so it will arrive 'rally-style dirty'

I always seem to be last to find out everything. Oh well, I'm in and I'll bring a camera so make sure those Minis are clean!!! I know a chap from Bk motors is bringing his Yellow/black mini aswell. Should be a great day for the little sport car!!

Wow... this meet is really turning out well.

So far theres about 18 people coming for sure!

Hope everyone has a clean Mini and some cameras so we can all take some pics.

So back on the topic of eating, I guess Casey's is ok with everyone?? Thanks for the input!

Well, since I just washed my car a few days ago, I've decided to cover her up with some sheets and blankets and leave her like that to the big day. She won't see the light of day until the 9th. I fear if she's just sitting in the garage uncovered I'll be tempted to drive her, and in turn getting her all dirty again.

So we're meeting at MINI Oakville and eating at (EDIT CORRECTION) Casey's at some point. Anyone thought about a drive?

We could tootle on down to Lakeshore and take that in toward Burlington or something. I have a fun run through Burlington/Waterdown that we could do if there is any interest, coming back in to Oakville on Lakeshore again. Just a thought...

I believe the plan is to eat at Casey's not Kelsey's. Granted it all tastes the same.

A drive along the lakeshore sounds good.

I edited my message just in case but I don't think there is a Casey's in Oakville? I think the restaurant we are thinking about at Speers and Kerr IS Kelsey's. Is that the one we want? I'll change my message again when we decide which restaurant it is.
