Since this is a large group, I think an agenda is in order, with addresses and directions to each location. Also, if a drive is planned, the route should be defined in advance and included in the agenda. I'm sure it would be difficult to not lose 20 MINIs between all the traffic lights. I don't want to seem excessive, but let's make sure everyone has a good time and is not left to fend for themselves in some foreign city

Could our trusty organizer prepare a route map to be handed out at Budd's, or prepare a message with details or links to all the details?

I don't even know where Budd's or Casey's is...

A map will be included in this thread for directions to Mini Oakville.

2. We will go for a ride with all our Minis.

Directions and length are still unknown.

3. Go to Caseys or Kelseys to eat.

Caseys may not even exist in Oakville, if that is the case, them Kelseys will be the restaurant.

If there's one thing that I've learned from the Mini experience, it's that Mini owners seem to really look out for eachother. Therefore, those not familiar with the area need not worry, Mini owners never leaver a soldier behind.

Is this Southern Ontario Mini Club a new club that we're going to make? I like the idea of starting a new club. I guess the members can be all the people coming to the meet?

I wasn't really busy so I thought I'd try and design a logo for the new Southern Ontario Mini Club.

Here's my prototype. If you don't like anything... please say so and I'd be more than willing to change some things around. Please let me know if you want to be part of this new club too!

Were we going to do the cruise before we eat or after? If we cruise before, we'll map it out from Budds -- if after, we'll map it out from the restaurant.

I think it would be good to have the cruise before the meal. I don't think I will be able to join you guys for the meal but I want to definitly be there for the cruise.

Plus it would be daytime which is great for keeping an eye on everyone.

I agree that it should be before dinner. So, how long a cruise do people want? We'll go down Bronte road, hang a right onto Lakeshore Road and head into Burlington. We can either loop back down to Lakeshore to return to the restaurant or we can head up King Road, Mountain Brow Road, Mill Street to Snake Road (those on the last run will remember this one!) and then back down to Northshore Drive onto Lakeshore home if people want a fun run through the twisties. If there isn't time, we can just do Lakeshore to King, hang a right on Plains to Maple and back down to Lakeshore.

Let me know which run is better and I'll give you a map.

I leave you alone for a few minutes and a club spouts up... Nice job guys. I am officially without my Mini for 3 to 4 weeks as my little fenderbender has escallated into a pricey little mistake. Man! I don't think I'll be making it on Sunday but I'll be there in spirit. IT WAS A TOUGH DECISION to make. A mini Driver without his mini isn't really a driver at all... He's just a man behind the wheel. But the next meeting you won't be able to keep me away from. BTW... love club the logo. Also... AirCanuck... your Atari landing strip rocks. Enjoy all.
