| Let's Motor. | minimc's B/B MCS was very cool, I liked all the mods he put into it. I was just wondering minimc, when your hood was closed, there still seemed to be about a 1" gap inbetween the bumper and the hood. Did you notice this also?? I may be wrong, but I thought it, my brother was even concerned to. |

| MINI2 Senior | Great meet! I'll echo other's sentiments that it would have been nice to have a longer time to chat & get to know everyone. But being that I was almost 20 minutes late I have myself to blame. …Then there was the weather - which didn't exactly lend itself to out-of-car socializing.P!SSY locals... I hope my exhaust note wasn't the cause of looks etc. from the locals. It doesn't sound THAT aggressive to my ear. This had worried me enough that I'd gone to the bother of recruiting my folks to listen for a number of drive-bys after installation. Maybe their hearing isn’t what it once was, but they both assured me that it was not obnoxious. Speeding through the subs... I know we were pushing a little bit on snake road, but I didn't recall my speedo being very high in most of the residential areas – I was behind haryblueindy after all… (just kidin Harry) . Though I have to admit that I did put in a good effort to chase a few of you down. Hopefully this spirited run wasn't what got the nasties started Kelsey's was a fitting ending to a good day. ...But I kept hoping that more of you would miraculously appear. In the end we were down to 8 MINI's from the glorious 18? we'd started with. Oh well... there's always next time ![]() Was great seeing all of you & hope to spend a little more time at the next meet. Offline | Quick reply... ...but MiniMan7, I was the one in the Silver/Black Cooper that met up with you on the highway coming into Oakville...actually, I think I was right behind you for a good part of the 'parade' I assume that everyone else noticed the group of fans that collected at one corner when we were on our way back down Lakeshore to get to Kelseys...it was kind of strange, like they had been waiting for us... | MINI2 Master | April 12th and May 24th are likely out for Alex and I as we'll be rallying those Saturdays and my wife and son will be disappointed if I'm driving around all weekend without them (no passengers allowed on rallies ).I think a Kelsey's show&shine would be fun and we can do a run up around the escarpment around Appleby Line (Lowville, Rattlesnake Point, Mount Nemo, etc.) A bit closer than Snake Road too. Assuming people want a fun run, of course ![]() Harry MINI Cooper Cabrio: now the car with go cart handling really feels like an open go cart! Offline | I know must of us are enthusiastic drivers but maybe a good portion of the next meet can be more social. I'd like to get to know everyone a bit more. And then do some driving, mind you keeping up with you Cooper S's was hard work. But rewarding!! Harry, I've already got those weekends ready for rallying!!! Maybe I'll try to get some Mini club decals ready for the next meet. I'm going to come up with some designs to suit each colour car, when everyone is happy with a design, order what you want and I'll get them printed for the next meet. They will be very cheap and will look great That is of course if you guys want a club logo for your car?Alex |

Offline | Here is an idea for a meet. May is when the movie "The Italian Job" is released. I am sure it was in May. When the fast and the furious was out my friends subaru club had a car show outside the amc theatre and they had it roped off and everything. Perhaps a meet at the opening night or something. It could be a mini car show! Holy Monkey! Indy Blue Cooper / White roof, wheels / Sport Package / Sunroof |

| MINI2 Master | I hear they offered him the part of the bad guy but he turned it down for some reason. Too bad. I agree we didn't have as much time to talk as was ideal but it was too cold to stand around outside for long and in the restaurant even with 'just' 11 people it was tough to talk to everyone. You can talk to your close 4-5 people but those at the other end have their own conversation. With 20 people it would have been the same thing. Once it warms up we can do more walking around and checking out the cars and chatting but when it's below zero it puts a damper on outdoor socials.
